Beach card

This mixed media card was made for a friend who loves the beach.

The background is a wonderful rice paper that I got at my local art store, mounted on turquoise card stock.

The sand is made with repeated layers of TextureZ Gold Mine shimmer paint (it is really more of a paste)..  The froth is Golden fiber paste, with some Golden glass bead gel along the edge with the sand.  It is topped with soft matte gel and various small beads (both products from Finnabair's line with Prima).  The "bubbles" above the froth are created with Finnabair's 3D gloss gel.  You can find the technique demonstrated by Kazia Krzyminska by clicking on her name.

The word "Beach" was cut from the Sizzix Wingo Zingo Alphabet strip die.

Thanks for visiting!
